Vietnam Visa: E-Visa, Visa on Arrival and the Right Support for Your Trip
Understand the difference between an e-visa and visa on arrival, and find the right support before departure or during your stay.
A smooth arrival starts with the right documents. Whether you are planning your first visit or returning to Vietnam, Le Travel helps you review your visa options, prepare your application and choose support that fits your itinerary.
Vietnam e-visa: arrange your permission before you travel
An e-visa is issued electronically by Vietnam's immigration authority. It can be valid for up to 90 days, with single or multiple entries, depending on the approval granted. Check the actual dates and entry conditions on your issued document: the maximum validity is not an automatic allowance for every traveller.
Le Travel assists with new applications and requests to expedite applications already submitted. We review your passport details, proposed travel dates and arrival checkpoint so that the application reflects your plans. You can also apply directly through the official Vietnam e-visa portal.
Visa on arrival: approval comes first
Visa on arrival, or VOA, is a different route. Eligible travellers need advance approval from the competent Vietnamese authority before travelling to collect the visa at the approved checkpoint. It does not mean arriving without documents and asking for a visa at the counter. Our team checks whether this route is available for your nationality, purpose of travel and itinerary.
Support when your plans change
- Urgent visa processing: assistance when your departure is approaching.
- Last-minute airport visa support: immediate case assessment if a visa problem is discovered at check-in.
- Visa extension support: assessment for eligible VOA-based stays.
- Visa run support: planning a lawful exit and re-entry when appropriate.
- E-visa error support: help with incorrect personal details or travel dates.
Send us your passport nationality, current location, arrival date and destination airport before booking a visa service. We will explain the available route and the documents needed for your case.
